Dear Parents,Thank you for enrolling your son/daughter in the Pequannock Little League Program. We hope that he/she will achieve athletic and social success, and that you are happy with his or her experience. The volunteers that coordinate the Pequannock Little League take pride in providing young athletes with a positive and safe recreational and competitive experience. We have spent some time compiling some information that is offered as a tool to place some important information at your fingertips. The information packet can be found on the Pequannock Little League website at http://www.peqll.com . The website has been created by John Curry and will provide you with information about all aspects of our organization. I specifically want to encourage you to review the “Parents Safety Packet”. You will find the following in this section:
(In the event of an injury, notify the Safety Officer, with in 24-48 hours.)
(The PLL has purchased a Little League Player Accident Policy through AIG. It is an excess policy and kicks in after the family policy the player is covered under.) First aid kits and disposable ice packs will be placed in all the lock boxes behind the backstops at the fields. There will also be a first aid kit at the concession stands at the Washington Park and Hillview fields. Please help us keep these stocked during the season and let us know when supplies are needed/used. Please help us provide all our children with a fun and rewarding season of play by following the Players and Parents Code of Conduct: Pequannock Little League promotes good sportsmanship by its athletes, coaches, parents, and spectators. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials, including umpires, in a positive manner. Profanity, racial or sexist comments, or other intimidating actions directed at umpires, officials, players, coaches, or other spectators will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the site of competition. Also, consumption or use of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products is prohibited. If after reviewing this you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact Ken Sigler. We hope that this year is our safest yet. Good luck to you and your young players! Sincerely, Ken Sigler Home: 973.248.1316 Cell: 973.632.5234 Email: Sigsnj@optonline.net |
